Remodeling     Based on Construction Documents from the Design phase, we provide remodeling and construction services. Our contract includes a project schedule which details how long the project will take, milestones associated with each phase of construction and perhaps most importantly, a date of completion. Our remodeling process requires adherence to our projects schedule, continuous communication with our client and any Trade Contractors involved (including weekly progress meetings) and continual quality assurance surveying. We also realize that our place of work is your home. Remodeling can be a trying experience, to be sure…and while nearly everyone is excited to see the work start, after workers have been in your house for a month, wishing for the return of your clean and quiet home is not uncommon. For this reason, your remodeler must be both professional and considerate. Modern Yankee Builders’ workers install temporary protective barriers and coverings, clean-up daily and work neatly. Our tradespeople are presentable, approachable and knowledgeable…and we don’t allow loud radios or inappropriate language. As professionals, we work hard to make your remodeling experience a pleasant one as we construct work that will last a lifetime. Our remodeling services conclude with a thorough review or the work we’ve completed and the presentation of a 3-ring binder with everything you need to know about your new renovation or addition. We provide you with maintenance and cleaning instructions, color charts for all of the paint we’ve used, progress photos of the work on a CD, our standard warranty (and any extended warranties that may apply) as well as a survey to let us know how satisfied you are with our performance.           Remodeling FAQs
