The ‘natural disasters’ our Modern Yankee Builders
crew sees too frequently, are nearly always the cause of water damage. While there are certainly actual natural disasters (hurricanes,
tornados, etc.), very few of them affect our area. The failures which allow water penetration in our area start with a man-made failure
(either the man-made system wasn’t maintained, or it wasn’t designed or built properly in the first place). As a result, the line between
‘natural’ and ‘man-made’ is a blurry one. Look at the examples below to see what I mean. |
